New Release and 2022 Plans
It’s a new year! Let’s hope 2022 is a better, less pandemic-filled one (eventually...). :/
I’m pleased to announce a new release - the ebook “box set” of The Queendoms Trilogy! Homestead, Sanctuary, and To the Farthest Shore are now available for a single purchase price of $9.99.
I decided to do a box set that matches the one I did for The Califia Trilogy so that readers could purchase all seven books in the series at a discounted price. At the Amazon series page for The Queendoms Series, the total for the series at the regular prices for the books is $30.93. But if you buy The Califia Trilogy, Second Bond, and now The Queendoms Trilogy, you can get the entire series for only $24.97.
The reason for the price difference is because The Califia Trilogy and The Queendoms Trilogy are $9.99 each, basically three novels for the price of two. I don’t think there’s a way that I can list the box sets on the series page, so hopefully new readers will look at all of my books at my Amazon author page and...do the math. ;-)
So... It’s a new year. I hope all of you are doing well and looking forward to whatever this year might bring. I know that sounds iffy given what we’ve been through for two years, but for whatever reason - I’m feeling hopeful.
Something I’m planning for this year might come as a surprise. For a long time, I’ve had non-fiction book ideas. I’ve been writing non-fiction, in a sense, for years at my anime blog, which is approaching 500 posts at this point, but as to long form non-fiction, I haven’t had the time to slot it in anywhere. Now, with The Queendoms Series finally finished, I feel a lot more free to explore these ideas. So look forward to something – or somethings – new and different from me this year in that regard.
But I haven’t forgotten fiction! Especially Tales of the Queendoms, my end-cap piece to The Queendoms Series. Again, To the Farthest Shore is the final book in the series, but for those who are interested and would like to read a few more stories about Anming and company...this will be coming in 2022. :-)
I haven’t talked about it much in this blog recently, but I have an m/m erotic romance short story series at Evernight Publishing called the SDS Robot series. SDS stands for sex and domestic services. The series is about robots and robot-human hybrids and their relationships with humans, and explores the power dynamics between machine and human, creator and the created. This year I’ll finish the last two stories in the series, and when they are released, I’ll say a little bit about my thoughts on this particular story universe.
The fact that it will have taken me eight years to finish a short story series is a marker of how snowed under I’ve been with work obligations. I’m currently making a number of changes in my life in order to have more time to write.
For me, this new year is all about change. Up to now I’ve been okay with just getting my writing done and out there, but from now on I’m going to engage more in social media and generally be more present in the world where readers and other writers congregate.
I hope that this new year will be a great one for everyone! Will update again soon.
