Here's the cover art for Homestead, Vol. 1 of The Queendoms Trilogy.
That's Madrona's capital village, by the way, pictured on the cover. It's a new look for this second trilogy in The Queendoms Series - a bit more subdued in coloring as is appropriate to the tone of this trilogy. Looking ahead, I'm planning to feature images for Rio's sanctuary island for the cover of the second book, Sanctuary, and finally Califia's capital village for the third and concluding book, To the Farthest Shore.
I enjoy doing the art for the covers. I've had this look and concept in mind for a while for this trilogy, and it was a pleasure to put the cover together for this first volume.
I've been absent from this blog for a while. As you might have suspected, my work got busy and I needed to focus on it for some time.
I feel it's better not to promise a release date for Homestead at this point. I will say though that I've carved out some time in my schedule this month and next month, for the sole purpose of getting Homestead done and published, so I'm optimistic about seeing it released some time in October.
When I release the book, I'll announce it here and at my Goodreads page.
Thanks for reading, and hopefully that announcement will be coming soon.
